
Tammy Shefelbine graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science that had emphasis in Child Psychology, Sociology, and Family Social Sciences. In 1997 she was certified in Child Abuse Prevention Studies. Ms. Shefelbine graduated from Hamline University School of Law in 2002. She also completed a Masters in Public Administration from the Hamline University Graduate School of Management in 2003. Ms. Shefelbine is a qualified mediator and parenting time expeditor registered with the Minnesota State Court System under ADR Rule 114. Ms. Shefelbine is actively involved in the local legal community where she was the Olmsted County Family Law Chair from 2004-2007, Legal Assistance of Olmsted County Board Member from 2004-Present, and Explorer Law Post Advisor from 2005-2006. She is also a committed volunteer attorney through Legal Assistance of Olmsted County. Ms. Shefelbine was presented with the Partner in Justice Award on April 13, 2007 for her dedication and compassion to legal volunteer work in the community. Ms. Shefelbine is also a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Ms. Shefelbine is committed to being a strong advocate for the rights and protection of her clients, and will work hard to achieve a fair and equitable outcome in all Family Law cases. In matters of divorce, she believes it is equally important to help people heal and move on to the next chapter of life.
